Don’t be fooled.
We’re living in a time when everything that can be twisted and perverted, will be.
The enemy, Satan, sets up wolves in sheep’s clothing, also known as false prophets & teachers, in order to deceive even the very brethren of Jesus Christ. How can we recognize them?
There are those who would “update Christianity,” who conveniently decide to throw away what doesn’t appeal to their ears and minds. They deny the Incarnation – the divinity of Christ, the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ at the cross, and the Resurrection.
By doing away with these, they successfully “neuter” Christ and remove all of His power to save us from our sins and offer us eternal life. They turn Jesus Christ into a mere man who was just a teacher with some good sounding ideals to offer, instead of the Holy beloved Son of God.
These teachers, people like Bishop John Shelby Spong, Karen Armstrong, and others, are the new breed of alleged Christian determined to remake Christianity and make it more suitable for the non-religious. These were discussed within the bible. Don’t fall for their lies.

In my internet travels, I read many different writings. Much of what I’m exposed to is written upon singles dating sites, blogs, and forums, or popular political & religious forums; I read a host of writings from many places. I believe I’m encountering an interesting slice of humanity from all walks of life, and a variety of ages doing the writing. Unfortunately, there is something I’ve noticed increasing over time in the last probably five to seven years. It seems to be growing in fervor with every passing day, no matter where I wind up reading, including even here at WordPress.com.
People seem angry. They are angry at God. And not just some murky concept of God, but of the god of the Holy Bible.. THAT god — The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob precisely.
These people claim they don’t even believe — this is what is really odd, yet the hostility toward what they don’t believe in is intense and tangible. It’s sincerely over the top.
This hostility, rage, and anger is expressed in a multitude of ways.

There is sarcasm and satirical mocking of God, Christian beliefs, and Christians themselves, especially “fundamentalist” Christians, or those who believe the Bible. There is outright contempt and strong dislike toward these, to the point that those expressing themselves in their raging seem to write about little else. This happens so often that one begins to take note that this overall “attitude” is growing and spreading, like a virus.
There are so many reasons given for these negative feelings. From bitching about alleged Christian hypocrisy, bigotry, and intolerance, to the slur against those “right-wing ‘fundamentalists.'”
There are an immense amount of people who are just boiling angry. These people are furious at those who dare to believe in the mystical “sky-fairy and his magical son.” And there is so much other derogatory commentary out there like this, of a similar vein, that it’s impossible to keep up with all of it. It’s like mud spattering against a white wall and dripping down, covering everything in its path with an icky darkness. It is mind-boggling to me, frankly. I admit that I find it chilling at times.

I’ve been on the receiving end of this scathing mockery and hate; I’ve felt the piercing arrows of these blows. I was bewildered by it at first and didn’t understand. I took it personally and thought it was because I just wasn’t “good enough” as a Christian; I had to do better. For some reason, I never could get good enough though…I never could please the world, no matter how loving, how kind, or compassionate I was.
Eventually, I’ve come to realize that I’ll never be good enough to mollify a world that hates God, Jesus Christ, and the Christian believer who sincerely stands by and believes the bible. To these people, I’ll always be this ignorant, deluded, “loser” who admires and looks to a supposed “book of myths and fairy tales,” who is weak and grasping at straws or a crutch to cope and get through life. Or so they say, anyway.
Jesus knew what we would go through here on this planet.
God knew. And They warned us about it.
Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you. – 1 John 3:13

Looks like my young daughter will be getting out for the summer early! She did well, grade-wise, and has passed all the standardized testing with flying colors. Finally, her school year is coming to an end and a hot, steamy summer lies ahead. This Friday will be her last day. She’ll be getting out early about noon.
With that said, I now envision lazy days lounging by the pool watching her master swimming in the deep end. There will be lots of barbecue’s, picnics, drives to the lake, hopefully some camping, and maybe a vacation trip to the beach if I can figure out a miracle of how to swing it financially.
I love the summer time. It’s so easy to live here at our place when there is nothing really pressing that we have to take care of, short of regular, every day chores. There is more time for our pets, and no stress from school looming over me and the kiddo. It’s all about finding fun things for her and I to do and using the time to teach exemplary lessons that will stay with her forever.
We spend a lot of time in bible study and talk about God, Jesus, the Christian life, and everything and anything in between. We read a lot of books together and have long, endless conversations. We watch movies, discuss them, and have countless sleep overs with her buds, roller skating parties, swim parties, and now we’re adding some dance parties to the mix.
Anyway, this is good news. I’m so proud of my daughter that she excelled in school, is almost finished with it, and can now look forward to a most glorious summer.
Thank you for being with her, Lord Jesus! Thanks for helping her succeed.

To the Moms who I am following, who I regularly read, who also read me, I hope you all have a beautiful, sweet day and may God bless and keep you and your families. (big hugs) I’m so sorry I’m behind on my comments and on stopping by all of your blogs to comment or “like” your posts lately. Been so terribly busy… I know you all know what I mean. Things are still pretty hectic after income taxes with everything we’ve probably put off and trying to get caught up.
Anyway, this is a quick one because Mother’s Day starts early, lol…
My little one and I are busy working on another one of her school projects. It’s the last one, though, thank goodness. She’s creating a product, advertising it, and will sell it at one of the school goods and services booths where the kids distribute their wares. She’s making her own cologne, and I think it should be a popular hit.
Basically, I’m just looking over her shoulder and commenting when appropriate. I try to give a bit of helpful advice now and then, but she’s set me pretty straight when she felt Mom was butting in too much and being too controlling. Heh. Back off, Mom.
This child has one heck of a stubborn streak. (Don’t know where she got that ;).
She’s fiercely independent and knows her own mind too. I’m learning to loosen up the reigns a little and let her take the lead. Mothering is such a strange and wonderful job, or maybe better worded as a “privilege.”
What a gift from God it is! What a joy my child is; she’s such a little beauty and so smart too. Even when she makes me mad, I don’t think I’ve ever loved anyone more.
Anyway, we’re going to have a pretty quiet Sunday. We’ll be visiting my mother’s grave at the cemetery and possibly my grandmother’s as well if there’s time. My little one already got me a card, some flowers, and some cologne, so we’re basically just going to be finishing up her project and hanging around the house. I hope to actually complete the laundry and we’ll probably munch on some chicken enchiladas, guacamole, and Spanish rice later in the day. All in all, it will be a pleasant Sunday together, just the two of us.

This video is a full length movie, approximately an hour and a half. It’s a unique film that I thought I would share with those who are willing to give it a try.
The film is about a young atheist girl who is angry at the whole idea of God, who obviously doesn’t believe in God. The ensuing conversations she has with a stranger are enlightening, entertaining, and deep. I hope you’ll watch it and see if it appeals to you. I really enjoyed it.
Obama came out with a firm stance today in support of gay marriage.
Unfortunately, this stance, along with his stance on abortion, has now firmed up my upcoming vote in the November 2012 presidential election.
As an Independent voter, I really was torn between the Republicans and the Democrats, and have been unable to make up my mind due to being someone who believes very strongly in support of the infirmed, impoverished, elderly, and disabled. I have felt that President Obama’s past voting record and actions have demonstrated support above and beyond for these people. I was going to cast my vote for him because of my belief that there has to be a safety net in place for these folks in our society.
What has not been demonstrated by President Obama, however, is good judgment in where his moral principles and values lie in regard to God’s word, the bible. Where morality and old-fashioned standards of right and wrong are concerned, President Obama shows little interest or care, in my opinion.
President Obama is certainly aware that when the bible talks about marriage, Obama cannot possibly support gay marriage and still line up with what the bible tells us marriage is defined as. President Obama also cannot support the murder of innocent unborn life/children in the womb and be in agreement with the bible. President Obama cannot support the headlong course away fromChristian belief in this nation and concur with the bible.
I’m a Christian before I’m anything else, thus I believe God has now made the vote I’m to cast clear, finally. I’m relieved, to say the least. I have finally made up my mind, but am nonetheless uneasy and do not have peace about the direction America is going under Republican or Democratic leadership. I think these two parties are anything but godly. I just wish there was some alternative to what they offer Americans. I absolutely cannot support what goes directly against biblical mandates and principles, and will not.
Supporting the redefinition of heterosexual marriage through backing gay marriage will now take us directly down that slippery slope that will force Americans to have to agree with a host of alternative unions that will now be clamoring for their civil rights. The marital union that was at one time specific only to heterosexuals, one man and one woman, according to the bible, will not be a recognizable entity any longer.
Soon, the polygamous, the incestuous, the man & boy unions, the man & his blow-up doll unions, the man and animal unions, and Lord only knows what comes after …will be allowed to marry because we must give them all their civil rights too, I suppose. This is the new morality that America is apparently embracing under the leadership of President Obama.
America is in the process of sinking inch by inch, just as Titanic did; I guess all we can do now is watch.
I’ve learned that if I can get through troubles with grace and gratitude, I will benefit from them in ways I could not have even imagined. When they pile up, sometimes it’s hard to be thankful, and even harder not to complain bitterly.
God is teaching me that He is here, even in the darkest hours; He will not let me shoulder these difficulties alone. He “leaves a light on,” so to speak, and that light is His Holy Spirit.
When I find it hard to love my child’s inexplicable “teenage behavior,” I am learning to love her through it. I’m beginning to hear a soft, quiet voice that says after the fact, “did you love her and show it?”
Instead of grouching, grumbling, or muttering under my breath in front of her, I’m instructed to simply love her and make her aware that I love her, no matter how she behaves. I’m to hug her and show her my love.
This is grace. Discipline in love. Discipline with love.
Thank you, Lord, for showing me the way. Thank you for showing me YOUR way. Now help me to implement it every day.
Thank goodness it’s the weekend! Time to lighten up a bit, as I feel as if I’ve been dwelling on some heavy topics the last few weeks. I would like to focus on the lighter side of the Christian life for a little, and look for the spiritual things and areas God’s providing for me to grow into. We’ll see what pops up..

In my last post, I offered some interesting opinion on the correlations of secularism and school shootings. There was something I left out of that post though; I left out the Satan connection.
Why is this important?
You see, when we as a society remove every mention of God and Christ from the classroom, we’ve created a vacuum. When we demand removal of the morality of the ten commandments from our nation’s public school system, there is a void left where God used to be. When we take God out of everything, Satan is what’s left; he fills in that gap. Proof? I just happen to have some…

Below are news articles that report on various school shootings and the shooters involvement with the occult, satanic music, and Satanism. Some of these shooters targeted Christians. Could this all be mere coincidence? How is it possible that so many school shooters are involved with Satan or have ties to the occult? Why are so many of these young people anti-religious or anti-theist? These people aren’t just atheist. Strangely, they believe in God and Satan, but they have an intense hatred for God and a love for the occult and the dark side.
Our nation isn’t helping this trend. We are encouraging this obsession with this darker aspect of things through allowing a host of evils our young people are becoming involved with. Our biggest sin, though, is allowing our public schools to become secular. We’ve allowed the enemies of God to remove generations of a Christian lifestyle and foundation from our public school system. The following is the result of that:
Satanism led to school shootings, teen tells jury In the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, June 12, 1998, youth says he saw demons before attack that killed two, wounded 7. In Hattiesburg, Miss., Luke Woodham said that he opened fire on his Pearl High School classmates after becoming involved with Satanism, which he said, “bestowed power over many things.”

Satanic Link to Slayings Below is an article published March 19, 1998 in The Sunday Mail, a popular and widely read London newspaper. These are the facts covered up and suppressed by the media of America:
The older of the two boys accused of having ambushed fellow students at an Arkansas school had a fascination with the occult, according to classmates. Mitchell Johnson, 13, apparently had discussed Satan with his classmates, according to a psychologist who counseled students after the killings.
The counselor said that the children were clearly terrified of Johnson and only spoke of the boy’s interest in the occult to a trusted teacher two days after the massacre. After one little boy mentioned it, two-thirds of the class said they, too, had known about it.
Johnson and Drew Golden, 11, are accused of having set-off a fire alarm at the Westside Middle School and firing on classmates and teachers. Four children and a teacher died and another ten were injured. The students spoke of Johnson having drawn satanic pentagrams on his hands and on the covers of his school books. It was claimed that he told classmates, “If I don’t get you, others will.”

Columbine school shooters, Eric Harris, and Dylan Kleboldhave been tied to themes of Satan and death through the music of Marilyn Manson. Hard rocker Marilyn Manson came under much scrutiny soon after the shootings, as Harris and Klebold were known to have been fans of the dark and ominous music. It was reported that during the massacre, the two boys ran down the halls screaming “Marilyn Manson rules!” while shooting their classmates.
The Manson song, “Misery Machine,” contains the lyrics, “We’re gonna ride to the abbey of Thelema.” The Abbey of Thelema was the temple of Satanist Aleister Crowley. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the two vigilante students responsible for killing 12 students and 1 teacher during the shooting, and wounded an additional 21 other students directly. After taking the lives of their victims, the two senior Columbine students proceeded to commit suicide.

December 1, 1997 — Paducah, Kentucky — Michael Carneal, 14 years old. “On Dec. 1, a 14-year-old boy allegedly killed three students who were in a prayer circle in a hallway at a high school in West Paducah, Ky. The weapons he carried in the attack came from a burglary carried out on Thanksgiving Day, Sheriff Frank Augustus said. ” [BBC News Online, December 2, 1997]
October 3, 2006 — Deadly shooting in Amish School house. NICKEL MINES, Pa. — A milk-truck driver carrying three guns and a childhood grudge stormed a one-room Amish schoolhouse Monday, sent the boys and adults outside, barricaded the doors with two-by-fours, and then opened fire on a dozen girls, killing three people before committing suicide. Early Tuesday, two more children died of wounds, a hospital spokeswoman and state police said. From the suicide notes and telephone calls, it was clear Roberts was “angry at life, he was angry at God,” Miller said.
Some of these school shootings, that are also associated with Satanism and the occult, have actually targeted Christian believers. But this is the most damning evidence of all:
The following video explores the link between Satanic activity, the occult, and the violence of school shootings. It demonstrates horrific lyrics and video as just one example of what is encouraging our children to engage in school shootings, by one of the most demonic bands in existence known as “Rammstein.” I must warn you, though, it is rather disturbing. After one watches the video, and reads the various reports about the different school shootings, there is a distinctly eerie commonality about all of these acts of violence, and it isn’t a holy one.
I’ve located some very interesting opinion on this topic and wanted to share a few excerpts froma chat with Chuck Norrisabout the correlation between secularism and school shootings:
“On February 14, 2008, five students at Northern Illinois University were senselessly killed in DeKalb, Illinois, when a former graduate and gunman dressed in a black trench coat walked into a lecture hall and opened fire with a shotgun and two handguns. In all, I’ve counted at least 14 different shootings at colleges or universities since 2000, resulting in approximately 60 fatalities and dozens more wounded.”
“A decade ago, GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee wrote the book “Kids Who Kill,” which examines and seeks remedies for school shootings. In it he points to modern day factors that contribute to a culture of killing. Among them are a devaluing and disregard for human life; a greater parental disconnection from and immoral license with their children; a fascination with antiheroes or gangsters that breeds cynicism and selfishness; a false sense of self-worth or a perceived incapability of obtaining status, notoriety or contentment; a thirst for adrenaline and extremes to acquire attention, as well as pushing the envelope of rebellion, chaos and brutality; the impersonalizing of society through such devices as the Internet and frequent transient shifts in employment, living localities and friendships; the legislation of subversive morality; an abandonment of a fellowship and moral center of community like a church; and a complete disregard for moral absolutes.
We teach our children they are nothing more than glorified apes, yet we don’t expect them to act like monkeys. We place our value in things, yet expect our children to value people. We disrespect one another, but expect our children to respect others. We terminate children in the womb, but are surprised when children outside the womb terminate other children. We push God to the side, but expect our children to be godly. We’ve abandoned moral absolutes, yet expect our children to obey the universal commandment: “Thou shall not murder.” As James Madison once wrote, “Liberty may be endangered by the abuses of liberty, as well as by the abuses of power.”
When asked what a president can do, Mike Huckabee posited amidst his condolences for the victims of the NIU shootings, “I think a president ought to just encourage this country to once again get back to their own moral center.”
Once upon a time, churches served as moral centers of a community. Of course, not any longer. And as Theodore Roosevelt once said, “In this actual world, a church-less community, a community where men have abandoned and scoffed at, or ignored their Christian duties, is a community on the rapid downgrade.” Our founders concurred.
Do we now believe we can consider morality and religion optional, without suffering civil and societal repercussions, despite the warning of our Founding Fathers, such as John Adams, “Our Constitution was made for only a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other”?– Chuck Norris
“I’m saddened and shaken by the shooting at an Amish school today and last week’s school murders [in Bailey, Colorado]. When my son Dan was murdered on the sidewalk at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, I hoped that would be the last school shooting. Since that day, I tried to answer the question, “Why did this happen?”
This country is in a moral free fall. For over two generations, the public school system has taught in a moral vacuum, expelling God from the school and from the government, replacing him with evolution, where the strong kill the weak without moral consequences. And life has no inherent value. We teach there are no absolutes, no right or wrong, and I assure you the murder of innocent children is always wrong, including by abortion. Abortion has diminished the value of children. Suicide has become an acceptable action and has further emboldened these criminals. We’re seeing an epidemic increase in murder/suicide attacks on our children.
