Relationship

Even if one studies the bible like a textbook, one may miss the point of why it was written; one may not grasp the deeper point behind the printed words.

There is an actual way of living represented here. The book tells stories, gives examples of how to live daily so that one can experience a relationship with the author of the bible.

One finds Him through the history of who Christ Jesus was in this earthly life in a human body. He led by example. As He returns to the Father, and resides at God’s right hand, one learns from the experiences of those who followed after; these advise on how to have relationship with Jesus Christ, with God, with the Holy Spirit.

Through their carefully penned thoughts, we learn the mind and heart of God. We find what He desires from us; we discover His forgiveness, His love and tolerance, and the way into His presence is clarified, no matter what may be going on in our lives at the time. Relationship transcends the pettiness of momentary events and troubles. Relationship becomes everything.

It is not just a relationship with God that is spelled out in the Holy Bible, it is a playbook on how we should live our daily lives. It describes how our relationship with others, our neighbors, should be. It tells us how to live, how to love and gives us the gift of hope.

Walk daily with God at your side!

    I love you,

    Ed
