A Handmade Mother’s Day Card my daughter wrote for me 🙂

I’m so lucky…

I’ve got the most beautiful daughter in the world. How did I get so blessed? Not sure what I did to get a lovely child like this, but I’m glad God chose me to be her mom.

We went out to dinner tonight at a fave restaurant of ours and then did a little shopping at Target. It was fun! Uncle Don came along too and treated us to dinner and he even shopped!

I hope all of the mothers have a lovely day and may God bless each one of you as He has so richly blessed me.

Her poem:

The Kindness of Love

Mother, Oh how beautiful you are.

Fresh and blooming like a tropical flower.

Your passion ignites me. 

Makes me feel willful and free.

You shine bright like a luminous, gentle star.

Beautiful, yes you are.

Along with that gentleness comes a flame.

Brilliant, feisty, strong.

You show no shame.

You mean the world to me.

Without you how could I see..?

The beauty of life.

I love you so much, and I pray…

You’ll have a lovely Mother’s Day.
