“A man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy street. Suddenly, the light turned yellow just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk. The tailgating woman hit the roof, and the horn, screaming as she missed her chance to get through the intersection.
As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a police officer. He took her to the police station where she placed in a holding cell. After a couple of hours, the policeman opened the cell door and said, “I’m very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the ‘What Would Jesus Do?’ bumper sticker, the ‘Follow Me to Sunday School’ bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car!”
As Believers, we are always being watched.”

Haha, LOVING it! So timely. We went to the Messianic Jewish food cupboard this evening, but we went early enough to hear the message… it was the same one you just delivered.
Plus, baby girl and I were studying the Scriptures yesterday and we came up with a similar passage the Apostle Paul wrote about new Christians not being ready for meat yet and we discussed this idea. Today’s scripture was taken from Colossians 3:1-14. Thanks!

LOL…I love this! So true, we need to be aware of our actions 24/7 because we are representatives of Christ on this earth. We might not get it right all the time but we have to try and stay focused. Thanks for sharing!

This is why I don’t put Christian bumper stickers on my car. Well, that and the fact that reducing covenant to marketing techniques desecrates the Gospel.

Me either, Mike. I prefer to live out the preachings and teachings, not just talk them. Sometimes I do better at this than others. heh.
